This Master of Medicine degree is by coursework rather than research and is thus structured to provide comprehensive teaching on skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. The program is delivered online as a series of courses in sequential order. Clinicians from specialist and primary care practice and those preparing for the Fellowship pathways in Specialist and Primary Care Colleges will benefit from completing this degree.
Masters Alumni from this program will have a level of knowledge and diagnostic skill that will empower them to effectively manage a large proportion of skin cancer in their future clinican work. Graduates are encouraged to maintain a connection to this University through teaching roles in the Masters and also progression onto careers involving research. Masters graduates are elligible to apply for consideration for entry into the Higer Research Degree program - PhD and eventual MD as a formal Academic career pathway.
Learning activities in the program include optional allocation to a Mentor scheme of Masters Alumni and clinical attachments to Specialist Colleagues.
