Quality, innovative research is a major component of the UQ School of Medicine's commitment to world-class education and health outcomes. The School of Medicine offers the postgraduate research degrees of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Philosophy (MPhil).
The School currently enrols 364 PhD and MPhil candidates, drawn from a diverse range of disciplines including Science, Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Science, Psychology, Dietetics, the Therapies, Education, Biotechnology, Nursing, Engineering, Information Technology, Arts and Law.
Supervisors and Projects
Academic staff and Research Higher Degree students conduct research within our 32 Research Centres and Groups. Research projects for RHD candidates are available across these Centres and Groups, in methodologies ranging from molecular, genetic and experimental, to clinical and epidemiological.
UQ ReSEARCHers and UQExperts may also be of assistance in locating possible advisors in your area of interest.
