School of Medicine Alumni Network Gala Ball
Our Alumni have asked for it, and now we have made it a reality.
The Inaugural School of Medicine Alumni Network Gala Ball will take place on Saturday November 14 at the Sebel & Citigate Hotel at King George Square in Brisbane. A very limited number of student tickets costing $90 per person are available through UQMS. All proceeds raised from this event will be split evenly between the School of Medicine Alumni Network and The Ashintosh Trust, which is run by UQMS.
The Ashintosh Trust was set up to support the Teddy Bear Hospital, a program designed to enable currently enrolled medical school students to go into the classrooms of younger children, and using teddy bears, assist in offering these children a postive experience while visiting a doctors room. It is a tremendous program and one the School of Medicine Alumni team are happy to support.
Tickets for this event are limited and it is expected to sell out, so it is important that you get your tickets early.
