How to Apply

1. If you do not yet have an Advisor for your research
If you wish to be considered for either PhD or MPhil enrolment in the School of Medicine, but do not yet have an Advisor (who has agreed to supervise your project), please send an email, with your CV and Expression of Interest form to: rhd@som.uq.edu.au
We will then send you some introductory information and direct you to one or more Advisors in your area of interest, so that discussions can begin.  

2. If you already have an Advisor and project
If you have already discussed a project with a prospective Advisor, worked out a project with them, and they have agreed to supervise your project, you may go directly to the formal application stage.  Email rhd@som.uq.edu.au to outline your proposed project and Advisory team, and to request an Application for Admission & Scholarship form.

English Proficiency Requirements
International students must have a satisfactory grasp of the English language. Applicants whose first language is not English are required to provide evidence of their current level of English proficiency. For further details, please see the English Language Requirements for international candidates.

When To Enrol
Admission/Enrolment for both domestic and international candidates can be processed at any time of the year!
